"Spaghetti?" Barry chirps, squeezing Leonard's hand with the excitement of one unabashedly in love with pasta. Good food is...frequently unavailable in Hell, food made with affection even rarer, and his stomach is growling before Leonard has the spoon halfway to his laps.
"So good," he says, fighting the urge to follow the spoon when it leaves his mouth just in case there's more clinging to it.
"Probably the first thing I taught myself to make. Luckily, Hannibal had stocked the kitchen before he disappeared and I don't imagine a Sith lord cooking, so I claimed it all for my own. Lucky you."
Leonard teasingly gave Barry another little taste from the spoon before pulling it away and replacing it with his lips, chasing the taste of sauce on Barry's tongue.
"Oh," Barry breathes against the sudden press of lips, both his arms sliding around Leonard's waist. He hates the way the moment feels fragile, like something unearned and long missed, but desired all the same, a treat he doesn't deserve.
He's just shameless enough to hold onto him, keeping him close even when Leonard's mouth draws back. "Tastes like home."
Heat rises in Barry's throat, and he swallows before he does anything embarrassing like tear up. "I missed you, too," he says, stepping close enough to rest their foreheads together. "It seemed like...I don't know, that you needed space. But, I hated it," he admits.
Nudged Barry's forehead lightly with his own and kissed him softly, briefly. "Don't feel like you have to be distant anymore." All he'd needed was time and frankly he'd gotten more than enough of it to himself.
Barry smiles, touching his lips with his fingertips even after Leonard pulls away. "You didn't have to," he murmurs, but he's undeniably pleased, bouncing on his toes as he looks around Leonard's kitchen.
"Barry. You will never be here when my roommates are." This suite had issues. So many issues. Barry didn't need to be trapped in there with them.
On the counter was a large mixing bowl, which he took up to fill with several large servings of noodles, which were then covered in sauce and given a nice, neat little twirl.
He knows your appetite, Barry.
"I'd offer you wine, but it could be people." Gifted from Hannibal a while back. "There's whiskey from Oliver, beer, or water." From Oliver, meaning it was probably at least decent quality.
Barry's face scrunches for the people wine, even as a teeny portion of the bowl disappears, his fingers suspiciously red tinged. "Water's fine," he says quickly. The whiskey is probably great, but it's wasted on Barry anyway - he doesn't have the metabolism or the taste to appreciate it.
"Oliver gave you whiskey?" he asks. "You two are getting along really well!"
Barry takes the napkin sheepishly, looking between the bowl and the pot with a pinch between his brows before he decides Leonard probably won't let himself go hungry. He sits down in front of the bowl, barely restraining himself from sucking it down before Leonard's even at the table.
"That's your 'I just broke into a really amazing bank vault' smirk," Barry accuses, holding his fork as if it could somehow shield him from the truth. Just once he'd like to find out about Oliver sleeping with people without the surprise twist. "And we were talking about Oliver."
Barry scowls. It doesn't bother him, exactly. He just feels protective of Oliver, a man who's always been like his brother, if one Barry is confusingly attracted to. It isn't bad, it's just...weird sometimes, knowing intimate details about him.
Clutching his fork, Barry does his best to rally. "No," he answers, almost smirking himself when he adds, "Oliver's hot."
That was a no-brainer. He was very hot. Especially naked.
"Scared I'm going to suck him dry?" Leonard leaned forward against the table, looking at Barry closely with his sharp icy gaze. "Take his soul? Make him sin?"
"What, is your dick so good now you can take souls with it?" Barry asks, grinning as he forks an enormous mouthful of spaghetti past his lips. "Better not let Lucifer hear that. He might send you back topside for new recruits."
That got an honest to goodness smile out of him, good job Barry. "If Lucifer wants that, he's going to have to make a hell of a deal with me. I don't think he'll want to have to go through such rigorous negotiations."
Barry groans again for the implication, but he can't deny that Leonard has a great ass. "They'd write folk songs about you," he says, enjoying the strange tale suddenly spun between them. "Wandering the earth, tempting souls just for a chance to get to your demonically enchanting ass."
He made an intrigued face and then smirked with a small nod. "I like that." Of course he did.
He finally took a bite of food, incapable of keeping the amusement off his face. "Do you miss it, Barry? It's open for business. I promise you can keep your soul. Well. What bits I haven't already taken."
"Of course I miss your ass," says Barry, grinning around his fork. He leans forward, clearly pleased with himself and his new Leonard-granted ability to negotiate. "And if you're making deals with Lucifer, I want a finder's fee. I knew your ass was great before he ever laid eyes on it."
"A finder's fee? I suppose that's fair. What are you proposing, Mr. Allen?"
Leonard sat back in his chair, crossing his legs, wholly amused by this conversation. He was really glad to be spending time with Barry again and didn't even try to hide it.
Barry hums. There are many things he wants, but most of all he wants what Leonard wants to give. Right now, it's his company again, but Barry would be lying if he says he's not greedy for more.
"Depends," he answers. "What kind of prize do you think is appropriate for discovering your perfect ass?"
Barry laughs, shivering a little at the rough fingertip along the fine bones of his face. He hasn't been touched by Leonard like this in ages, and he's missed it. "Does it have to be a pile of gold?" he asks. "Or will that enchanting ass of yours settle for something more pedestrian?"

The question left him smirking faintly, drumming his fingers once on the table. "Hm. I suppose we are."
If you only knew, Barry.
