Nov. 13th, 2016 06:36 pm"I'm home!" Barry calls. It's redundant, for Derek can hear him as soon as he arrives, but Barry just likes saying it. He's home, their home. It feels good. Barry grins, then pauses on the front step to hastily pat out the fire in one of his shopping bags. He looks inside and is glad to see none of their food got burnt. "I really need a super bag to go with my friction resistant suit," he mutters and carries the groceries over to the kitchen counter. He unpacks them at normal speed, still chattering away to wherever Derek is in the cabin.
"The moon is really big tonight," he notes. "It's a super moon, the biggest one in seventy years. We won't see another one like this for nearly two decades. Did you know it's seventeen miles closer than usual right now? Hey, does that affect you?" Barry looks around. "Like, more?"
